18 FORUM LANE
18 Forum Lane, the newest addition to Camana Bay’s mixed-use space, welcomed an internationally recognised financial services firm as its first tenant in late 2015. The latest mixed-use building offers 85,000 square feet of commercial and retail space that is both energy efficient and flexible for businesses of various sizes. With intricate design detail such as metal sun shades inspired by the corrugated zinc roof of old Caymanian cottages to minimise solar heat gain, 18 Forum Lane marries the artful and practical at every opportunity.
Designed by Lake|Flato – a world leader in modern, sustainable architecture – 18 Forum Lane is on track to achieve LEED Gold certification in 2016. In addition to green initiatives incorporated into the architectural design, recycling excess building materials was promoted during construction, as well as ensuring minimal impact to the surrounding natural environment.
